Why design?
I think of design the same way I think of running - the feeling of exploration, a goal and an achievement. Being faced with new creative obstacles gives me the opportunity to explore various design avenues in order to reach 'the goal.' Completing the goal and having a satisfied team and client fills me with satisfaction and achievement.
Professional experience:
As a professional, I learned a lot about branding, project management and marketing, and attributed new technical design skills. I have led a government-funded program creative project from start to finish. I design multi-faceted design materials for both public-facing and internal communications projects. Lastly, my skills in WordPress and other CMS platforms allowed me to build microsites and update website content.
